To me a whole case of them is not worth $130.In my humble opinion they are unsafe!

Your $130 would be much better spent on a Makrov, PA-63, CZ-52 ect. There are many "Excellent & Cheap" handguns out there ... Jennings, Bryco, Raven are NOT among them!

Hello ,Yes apx. $130 is the going price for one of these...a little (or a lot) more from a dealer who likes to scalp people ...As far asthese go , they are the only new "low end" ones we will sell , and we have had very good results with them !!!unlike lorcins,hi-point,ect...and for the guy with the 130 a case comment , we will buy all he has at that price...we realize that not everyone of our customers can afford a sig or a glock ,so we try and have something that works that is affordable for the not so rich customer...

When I took the CHL Instructor course from the Texas DPS in Austin, the Jennings/Bryco 9mm was the ONLY gun that was named by make and model and BANNED from use on the DPS range. Why? Because two wannabe "instructors" showed up with them in an early class and both of them disintegrated when fired.I have only sold two of these, ever. The only reason I had them was that they were in a lot of guns I bought, take 'em all or none.I laid them out on my tables at a local gun show and priced them at $89.95 each, brand new in boxes with two magazines each. One older gentleman asked me if they were new, and I told him they were. Then he asked why they were so cheap. I told him, "Because they are junk. I don't recommend buying them, and if you buy them, I don't recommend shooting them."He bought both of them. Go figure. At least he knew what he was getting.

I agree with the fact that not everyone can afford a safe and realiable gun. I personally would feel safer carrying a knife in my pocket rather than a Jennings on my hip....and it would be much cheaper. But to each his own. If my budget for a gun was $130.00, I would go with something like a used rossi revoler or some other kind of decent revolver. Too many things can go wrong with a poorly made semi-auto. When gun nuts won't even shoot a Jennings that should send up a big red flag the size of Texas.

Jake,TRUST ME ON THIS ONE!Get yourself an Feg Pa63. You will positively love it. The recoil is a little stout, and the the rounds are a little harder to come by, but it is accurate, reliable and cheap. SOG is selling them right now, for 89 dollars in Excellent condition. You won't be sorry,Monkey[This message has been edited by thesupermonkey (edited 01-09-2002).]
