reccomendations for pistol range shells

I'm getting back to range shooting,and wonder what inexpensive shells you can reccomend for 9mm and 40S&w. Ihave used wolf but have heard negative comments,what do you guys think? thanks

PMC or USA brand are pretty cheap if you get the FMJ or TRC typesusually around $8.99-$9-99 for basic paper punchers, Have fun and welcome back...

check this web site out www.cheaperthandirt.com and see what you like. Click on AMMO and do a search with the bar down at the bottom of the page that says, search by caliber or manufacturer.

I just picked up 12 boxes of 9mm UMC at Wal-Mart for $5.49/box.

Thanks alot about the info on the other internet sights I liked their prices and I also sent the old lady to wallyworld for some bread and to check on 9mm prices!

The wal-mart that I go to has CCI blazers 115 grain FMJ for $5.47 a box, and umc for about $.10 more. they also have a 100 round box of Winchester 115 grain FMJ for $10.47. Also, I found this site that sells ammo rather cheap. http://bulkammo.com/index.asp They have 500 rounds of 9mm for $50.Not sure on the other calibers, but this place might be a good start for you bargain hunters.

also, ask your range for their reccomendations. most have specific requirements for use at their range. no steel core or jacket etc... many have range specific ammo at cheap prices too,
