.45 shot ammunition

Has anyone ever seen/heard of shot ammo for .45? I have a squirrel problem and want to be able to shoot high trajectory but not have anything come down on neighbors. I have a .45 auto, and I know I would have to feed it one at a time, but I can't find the stuff anywhere.Thanks.Fitz

CCI/Blazer makes this for the .45ACP. Walmart sells it here.

My Father-in-law keeps a mag full of CCI's for his Firestorm 1911. I don't know if it cycles or not though.[This message has been edited by simonbs (edited 02-13-2002).]

CCI's "crimped end" shot cartridge cycles fine in my son's Baby Eagle, but the stuff with the blue plastic nose will not.

The CCI crimp end, cycle perfect in my p-14 45, however I have never shot more than 3 in a row.
