Does this pistol sort of resemble a semi-auto like a Colt Woodsman or High Standard Supermatic? Or does it look more like an old dueling pistol from the flintlock/caplock days with the hammer on the rear instead of on the side? The first would be a Stevens No.10, and the second a No. 35. These are called "Tip Up Actions". Value would depend on condition.

Well, then, it sounds like you've got a No.35. You still didn't give us a condition. The Blue Book values it at $350 in 100% original condition (unlikely) down to $165 in 60% of original condition. The gun was manufactured from 1907 to 1939 in .22 LR or .25 Rimfire cal. with 6,8,10, or 12 1/2 in barrels, blue with walnut grips. Your serial number puts it nearer the end of production rather than the beginning.
