Have a question: can I use the 2.75" shells if the powder equivalent is listed with the word "Mag" on it?Some shotshells are listed as "Magnum" in the brand name. OK, those are a no-no. As are 3" shells, and slugs unless I lose the choke system on this particular shotgun.I have also heard that I the gun was manufactured before the widespread use of Magnum loads, and that it wouldn't be safe to fire them in the 185 DB. IS that so?I could also ask: does the word "mag" actually mean magnum? if it is only used to identify the powder equivalent and not the whole thing?OK, As a further question: has anyone who owns one of these or similar shotguns used modern (factory) "mag" loads? any problems?I sent Mossberg an e-mail, but they have yet to reply. If they do at all. Thanks to everyone,Carl
