Sellier & Belliot

I have had nothing but bad luck with Sellier & Belliot .32 cartridges. They misfeed in my ppk/s and my colt pocket hammerless, whereas I don't have that same problem with the Winchester or any other loads. Anyone else have that same experience? All firearms are cleaned and well maintained with good functioning magazines.

That's mostly what I shoot in my Beretta Tomcat 3032, CZ-70 .32 ACP, and my new Kel-Tec P-32. I've run about 5000 rounds of SB through the CZ and Beretta, but only around 200 rounds through the P-32. I don't recall one misfeed in any of these guns. How many different times have you used SB, and were they all bought from the same store? I'm thinking maybe you got a bad lot. Try buying another box on the other side of town and see if you get the same results.

Maybe you should check both those guns, have them detail cleaned by a gunsmith. I don't know anyone who has problems with S&B ammo, its some pretty good stuff as far as I'm concerned.

Jon G., I had the same luck with S&B with my Kel Tec P32, 1 out of every 4 or 5 would fire. I ran a box of Fiocchi with no problems. Iv'e recently purchased a box of Federals (American Eagle) and hope they work fine so I know its not the gun. I think the cheap stuff has harder primers. I also think to keep the triger as light as possible on the small double action only, the firing pin might not strike as hard as some of the larger calibers. I read a small artical some where of this guy having trouble with his Kel Tec P32 misfiring and wanting to hear from others with the same problem. SteveHurst@hotmail.com

Just ran 400 rounds of .45 through a P-90 not a single misfire or FTF. AS accurate as any other 230 gr FMJ in this gun. Picked them up at a gun show for $10.25 @ box. I wonder if the brass is reloadable?[This message has been edited by Robin (edited 02-17-2002).]

It is true that all were bought from the same range. I havnt' tried it at another range, so it could be a bad lot. The problem isn't mifires, its a failure to cleanly feed. I had no problems with any other makers of cartridges.
