i am thinking about a Beretta PX4 9mm now. i was really thinking about a springfield xd but i do not like the idea of not having a manual safty. i want to stay around the 500 mark so do you think this is a good choice or are there any other that are better?

I have been looking to buy a 9mm pistol that is single action but somewhat smaller and lighter that the CZB. I have narrowed my choice, subject to the comments and suggestions I receive from this message, to the CZB Compact and the Star Firestar. I realize the CZB Compact is probable a getter gun that Firestar, but is it worth the difference in price? Also, I read that FEH makes a 9mm about the size of the CZB Compact, it it single action and is it any good? Thanks,David

Star is no longer in business as of 1997.I had several of those and was never disappointed. I now have a full size 75 and a 75D,the decocker model. Both of these shoot better than I can hold. They both chamber and eject any type of bullet. For the price I could not be happier.
