What this pistol worth?

I have a S&W 10-8 4" with laynard on the butt of grip. Grips in very good condition, some minor bluing wear from holster carry. Clean and shiny bore, strong rifling in barrel. Whats it worth?>Also has 3 letter 4 number serial number starting with an A

    Does the gun have any letters stamped on the back strap of the grip? As for the age of the gun it was made in the 1980's. As for the value, probably $140-200 depending on the amount of holster wear.
