I'd like to find the value of this 12ga gun would it be better to sell 2x7 leupold shotgun scope with it or take it off? Gun tuned and ready it doen't look out of box but not far from it gun& scope are in good condition.

If you can get $200 for a used one, you're probably doing good. I have one, like it alot (except for that crappy trigger) and always check prices when I see them at gun shows or dealers (curiosity I guess). I don't know what you paid, but when I see them (new) they're usually around $ 240 - including Walmart. They don't seem to be real popular.

As far as selling with or w/o scope - kind of a toss up - you might do better, you might not. Find someone who wants the scope and they might give you a little more for the package.....

There is a recall on this model in a certain serial number range. I would call Mossberg or check their website if you have one. These guns are pretty much pieces of crap.

I was very impressed with mine for its' accuracy and reliability - aside from the trigger, mine has been a great gun - why anybody would say they're all pieces if crap is beyond me. Maybe the name "Mossberg"?
