ar.-15 reciever repair

I just recently purchased my pre-ban ar-15 from a gun show. The whole gun itself is in great shape with the exception that the front attachment pin rings on the lower reciever have a little wear on them.I was wondering if there was maybe a liquid metal or something like that out there that I could put on them to beef it up a little?I know you can't put metal back,I just need something to help me keep from cracking those points off.

Thanks for any info.

I am not sure what "front attachment pin rings on the lower reciever" are but you can have anything on an AR upper or lower repaired with a TIG welder.

I'am not sure what you mean either, but it sounds like it might be the front pin that holds the upper to the lower. If it is, you should just replace it with a new one. They can be had at any gun show, and they are not hard to install. There is a spring and detent that holds it in place. Adding metal probably would not last long.
    Good luck, Joe
