Is FEG now out of business? If so, where can I find orginal factory mags?

The FEG was made in Budapest Hungary, Imported by KBI inc, and Century international arms, Similer to the browning single action Hi-power, Relativly inexpensive, but still a fairly good shooter. Imported 1992 to date.

PJK 9HP is a high power clone. The P9R externally may look like a high power, but internally is more like a S&W, it is a double action, while the PJK is a single action. The PJK will take all the same parts as the Browning, barrels, mags, triggers, grips, etc. The P9R won't take anyone elses anything. The first of the FEG 9mm's came into the country in 1986, but importation was halted and then began again in the early 1990's. i've handled them for years with a very good track record. Beware of the magazines that may come with the gun. For a while they came with a US made aftermarket magazine, (the mags were crap). Unfortunately many people blamed the guns. The guns were fine before with the original Hungarian 13rd magazine, the later Hungarian 10rd mags are fine too, just the crappy 13rd aftermarkets were the problem. If you happen to get one of those, contact the importer, when I had that problem, they were well aware of their error and were quick to make it right. You'll find any quality Browning magazine (factory or aftermarket) will work fine in them.
