Just picked up some Armscor 9mm from a local gun store. Salesman said it would be fine in my Beretta 92FS Police Special, just said it was a bit dirty. A friend of mine however said he'd heard of Armscor ammo making pistols break. Any confimation for either side?

I've shot the .45acp 230gr FMJ ammo by Armscor. It was some pretty hot stuff as far as I remember. May be on the high end as far as pressure, but well within SAAMI specs. I don't really remember it being all that and a bag of chips, but like Wolf brand, it was cheap and fun. I would only use it for plinking around. And I remeber having problems trying to reload the brass. As far as it breaking you gun I wouldn't worry about it. Shouldn't have any problems with a new gun, especially a Beretta.

If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.

I have sold and shot alot of the armscor ammo, 9,45,357, etc. It shoots very well and is a tremendous value for the money. I wish I could say that about their firearms.
