need info on Remington model 12c

Do all 12c's have a metal butt plate? Are all barrels stamped "model 12-C"? Are 12-C serial #s separate from the other model 12s? If separate what is the serial # range for the 12-C's? Tks Tsmasher

    Yes they are a model 12a which these guns were based on. There is a 12B gallery special slide action 22. The 12c which is similar to the 12a except it has an octagon barrel.They were made in grades D, E, and f, as well as premium.There was a model 12cs chambered for the (22 wrf). The B Book gives the model 12c at 95% a price tag of $375.00 The 12c should have a 24 in barrel. There also was a model 12c NRA target. The book values it at#750.00 in 95% condition. Hope this helps.
