Info Request for .22 revolver..."The Regent"

I am looking for any information on a .22LR revolver.

On the firearm it says "The Regent", Firearms International Corp., Washington, DC. Made in the USA Serial is R15408.

I have not been able to find any information on this manufacturer, an approximate age, or what type of value it may hold etc. It looks as if the cylinder has been dry-fired numerous times, depressions quite obvious.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This company was located in Washington, DC, and manufactured and imported a number of different guns such as Astra and Iver Johnson from about 1950 to 1970, maybe a little later. Some imports, such as yours, were of low quality.

Even in perfect condition, there is no collector interest in them. In the condition you describe, it has no value; save it for a gun buy-back program.

Sold bunches of these things in the early 70's. They weren't that great then. Doubt if they get better with age.
