What were Cienar / Atchisson mags?

What were the Cienar .22 conversion magazines originally for? I saw three pre-modified at a gun show, but the seller didn't know either.

The Ciener/ Atchisson conversion is made to shoot .22LR in the AR-15 M-16 series rifles, as well as Ruger Mini-14's, AK type rifles, as well as Beretta, Colt 1911 type pistols. They are very nicely made, and are reliable. The unit made for the AR-15 can be had with 10rd or 30rd mags.
They advertise in many shooting periodicals. Hope this helps. Joe

Thanks for the reply, but I think I need to rephrase the question. The mags Cienar uses were made for an "unknown" gun. Cienar just welded sheet metal around it to make it fit whatever conversion he chose to sell. I'm trying to find out what the mystery gun is. Thanks.

The .22 curved mag used is similar to those used by Auto Ord Co for the .22 Thompson as well as that used for the Mossberg 353 .22 semi auto, I dont think Mossberg made them but I have a few 30 round 22lr mags that fit feed and function in the 353 semi auto. They are unmarked
