Hi, I have a weatherby 28 guage sxs-athena grade, and a weatherby sxs 20 guage orion grade. These are NIB. I guess only about 300 were made before being discontinued last year. Would anyone know an accurate value? Thanks.

Does anyone have any experience (good or bad) with the Weatherby Athena and Orion side by side shotguns?

Yep I owned a Orian O/U (bought new), (10 years ago) they're not to bad once you get the sear replaced so that it dosn't fire both barrels at the same time.
Everybody at the skeet club that had one, at that time, had the same problem also (from 28 to 12 ga).
The attitude that I got from Weatherby's service dept. convinced me to never own another of their products.
I "repaired" mine by tradeing it in on a Browning GTI and have never regretted the decision.
*Edit I am speaking of the single trigger O/U, which the Athena & Orian's were.*
Some guys like a mag full of lead, I still prefer one round to the head.
