Smith Mod 27-2
S/n 7564xx

Value isn't important, but when I bought it- early 80's as I remember - it was suppose to be older but new in box. Did he lie to me?
Thanks in advance,
Jackson

To close date this gun requires a little more information. The -2 started in 1962. What trigger, hammer and grips are on the gun? Is it in a standard paperboard box or in a wood presentation case? These help date the gun.

Those items w/s/n date the gun to the last quarter of 1979. Some of the 27's are hard to date as their s/n's are also interspersed with some other N frames.
