Cartridge adapter and ????'s

OK, The way it's starting to look it just may be a while before I can rebarrel my new rolling block so here's my questions! This roller has already been rebarreled to 22-250. Already determined that this round is too much for this action! Found a site that has a cartridge adapter for this in 22LR. How accurate would this rifle be using the adapter? The action is tight, the breech block has been rebushed for modern primers and the bore looks new. Was thinking of using the rifle and adapter so I could shoot in the local small bore gong matches. Would this combo be practical for this?? Hate it when I have a rifle thats impractical to shoot, drives me crazy!
Any Ideas on this??
Thanks in advance!!
Of course I can play the piano, as long as it has pedals!

accurate, probably because the chamber insert is spring loaded and doesn't float around. Your gizmo may be slow loading because the centerfire to rimfire conversion breech probably unscrews from the chamber part.
The key to reasonable accuracy may lie in a snug fit within your 22-250 chamber.
If you could find a 22rf breechblock you could make some custom fitted
chambers out of 22rf barrel.
