Couldnt find anything about a mdl 3087s

    How about a mdl 30AS, later designated a 336, worth about 275.00

I am a fan of the Marlin Rifle and I have searched every bit of information I have, and cant find it. Its very possible you have something very rare. Try calling Marlin and give them information on your gun they should surely be able to help you.

    Good Luck.

Where is that model # stamped, and where is the serial # stamped?
I never heard of it either.

cowdoc is correct. When Marlin makes a rifle to be sold by a commerical retailer such as he mentioned, Sears, Big 5, JC Penny, etc. they give it a model number with four digits, for example 30xx.

The value is the same as a regular Marlin in the same condition.
