I bought this Mountain Gun when they first came out 8 or 10 years ago ??? (getting old)Anyway, mine came in a blue plastic case and with no writing on the barrel and with a case hardened target hammer and trigger. I'm building a house and considering selling it. Any ideas on what it is worth? It has Hogue mono grips in wood and rubber with S&W medallions. Thanks. As always you guys are great!!!

Value will be determined by condition--N.I.B. at about $695 down to about $450 for one in about 90% condition.

Hey, if you want to swap me those rubber grips before you sell the revolver, let me know! I will send you a pair of Hogue rubber grips without the medalions in exchange for the grips with the medallions, plus I will pay the shipping both ways.

You might have a gun that is a factory mistake, unless it has been rebarreled, I have never seen a Smith without writing on the barrel.
