Talked to a factory rep. at a gun show this last winter. He said it will eat anything but WOLF ammo... And it will use M16 / AR15 mags .. It was light, trigger pull was smooth and crisp. I plan to get one [:)]

It will hurt you, More than it will hurt me..

I guess it would shoot some, about like the AR's, it would get dirty fast, with the Wolf, and make problems..

No manufacture recommends that you use Wolf :), I bet it'll feed you'll just have to clean it more often.

Anyone figure out if its Cali legal or not?

I called keltec and they said it was, but I'm somewhat leary as to calling the CDOJ.

Any cali FFL's out there willing to do a transfer?

Odd, you dredged this up from last year.

The kel-tec SU-16 is in fact California legal, you are incorrect.

Silverbox is right..... I live in Cal and bought one of the Keltec SU-16's a month or so ago. They were legal here before and after the ban expired. They have always been legal here just as the Ruger Mini-14 has. They have no bayo lug, flash hider or evil pistol grip.

The big selling factor for me was the fact it uses AR mags. It came with 2 10 rounders that store neatly in the stock. The gun folds up into a compact package. It shoots great but is partial to my thermold canadian mags.

It is not a tac driver and was never intended to be. It is a light weight, compact, handy little rifle that shoots about 2+" at 100yds and thats all I need for a car gun.

    Is the SU-16C is Calif-legal?
Thanks for your time and consideration,
