Anyone hear of a Colt Ace being made on the Argentine Colt equipment? I have an opportunity to pick it up but am confused as I thought only the Colt USA made them.

It depends on the quality of the aftermarket nickeling. If it wasn't buffed prior to the nickeling it would be a candidate for a professional high quality restoration.

On the other hand if some bubba worked it over on a belt sander before tossing it into the nickeling tank, at best it would be a shooter.

Need quality photos for accurate opinion.

WOW without pictures it would be impossible to tell but .IT might be a one in 10,000 chance that it was nickeled at COLT
