I have a Jennies M9 and can not get the slide off.I believe that the sear assembly has turned around.
Have any of you had this problem?

You might have better luck searching for info using this, "BRYCO ARMS, JENNINGS MODEL 9". It's what they are most commonly known as, among gun connoisseurs

I assume you mean Jennings instead of Jennies. I don't think it is possible for the sear assembly to turn around. Try going to Youtube.com and running a query on fieldstripping your gun. There are video instructions there for disassembling almost any gun you've ever heard of. It's possible you are leaving out a step. Good luck.

I just happened to be on Youtube a minute ago and found the instructions.

Do you mean a Bryco/Jennings 9mm pistol? (IE one of these)?

I'm about 90% sure the current manufacture Jimenez arms gun is the same thing (or nearly the same), and the schematic is here:

I don't know how to fix your problem, but I'd make the following observation. These guns aren't known for either good design OR build quality, and they're not worth much.

If you want to do so for "fun" or just to have some sort of last ditch emergency/backup/"disposable" gun, then so be it.

But IMO, it doesn't pay to spend too much time or money trying to fix up a broken one, because no matter how many parts you replace, the new ones are just likely to fail again.
