Guys, who makes the rifle that shoots 223 and then you can take your hinge pin out and pin a barrel and receiver that will shot a 50 cal bullet? It is set up on the m-16 frame it looks like.

    The platform is indeed the AR-15/M-16/M-4, you are looking for. The folks that make the 50 Beowulf, would be Alexander Arms, and are also responsible for the 6.5mm Grendel. The AR-15, is so much more than just a 223 Remington, or 5.56x45 NATO. You can actually think of it of the TC Contender/Encore, of the semi-automatic rifles, as you push a pion, and you can change upper reciever assemblies.
