TC handgun-centerfire vs rimfire

Just put a .22 cal barrel on my TC. It won't fire due to firing pin hitting center of .22 case. Prior to the .22 barrel I was using a .30-.30 centerfire barrel(no problems). How do I make the firing pin hit the .22 rim? Any help is appreciated.

They had two types of hammers. The older models had a round disc on the face, you used a screw driver to rotate it one way or the other. The newer models have a lever on top of the hammer that is one way for centerfire and the opposite for rimfire. The center position is a safe position.

Thanks to you both for replying to my question. Seems I have an older TC with the disc, WIN37 hit it on the head. Thanks again.
