Digital Reloading Scales

I'm getting into reloading and want a digital scale. I would appreciate any information concerning personal experience with say Dillon, RCBS, Hornady and Pact electronic digital scales or any others I don't know about. Thanks
Without the NRA, the second ammendment would already be gone!

I have a RCBS and it works like a charm. I think it is exactly the same as a PACT only green

If you order factory direct from PACT in the next 4 days, that is by the 15th, their BBK II scale is on sale for $10 off, $89 delivered, and is the same scale that RCBS charges $125 for. www.Pact.com

I believe the Pact is the best, have had a set for over 4 years, not a single problem and they are easy to maintain and calibrate if need be, you will not be sorry...good luck...swishman

I have the RCBS Partner (made by Pact) because it was on "Close out" and the cheapest at the time. I also like the fact that it is battery operated so I can take it to the range or anywhere, however at home I use a 9 volt adapter ... as its a pain in the * when you go to re-load and your scale is dead and there isn't a 9V in the house!

I'm of a family of handloaders and we all use electronic scales. Of the several brands of scales in use, the Pact-RCBS is the only one with which we have had problems. This was disabled during a lighting storm while operating on house current. (It may not have been affected if it were on battery power as the house didn't take a direct hit.) While no manufacturers are likely to cover "Acts of God", my Lyman LE 1000 survived being attached to the same powerline. In Pact's defense, they would rebuild the scale for cost of parts, labor, shipping. This was more expensive than buying a new one if the load cell were involved, which is likely. This was replaced with a Dillon's D-Terminator with exellent results. It is pricey ($166.95) until compared to the top-of-line units like the LE 1000. Concider Midway as a source for the brand-name scales. They feature Pact, Hornaday, Lyman, RCBS electronic scales in their reloading catalog. Price and feature comparisions can be done directly.
