Model 94, 32-40 win. cal. not in good condition. This rifle appears to have set in a case or safe a long time because there is plenty of rust on the magazine tube and some on the barrel except a thin strip where it must have been resting on a rack. There are bits of black on the metal strips that hold the stock to the barrel and on the lever because the story is it was in a house fire at one time. Appears that someone tried to clean up the blackness, but not very good. All the fine engraving is slighty worn where a hand would carry this rifle in front of the lever. Stock looks good, only a couple of small niks, and the butt plate color is worne where it appears to have rested in a case. Could the magazine tube be replaced? It sickenes me to see this rifle in such bad shap. Bore and rifling look good. What could this possible be worth. Owner also has a box of commerative ammo. Anyones quess is appreciated.

brownells has replacement magazine tubes for these but with the rust one would stand out like a sore thumb. if everything works well it probably is worth $300/ $400 as a shooter.
