I have a couple 30 rd steel mags for my Mini-30, but none of them like to feed properly. Is there a good fix for them? Anyone know who makes a good, reliable 30 rd mag?

Have the same problem all the time, I really can't find any company that make good mags. Its cause the metal they make them out of is cheap and pliable, work great when they're new, but if not stored right, or drop the feedlips become mis-shaped easily. The only actual worth while Mini mags are the factory ones, that or military/leo mags that the factory made, you can find unmarked preban ones, but they are few and far between and pricey.Other then that, I'd say use a caliper and measure the exact specs on the feelips of a new, working, or factory magazine, and just reshape the old ones.Or if you have the money, take one to a sheet metal shop, have them make you some better ones, and just buy some springs and followers.I'm sure 20 people will tell you how illegal it is, but I won't lie, I've done it, and being unmarked as they are there isn't any way anyone can tell, so I don't worry about it, just have someone you know do it "under the table." and no paper trail... Anyone who thinks this is wrong, needs to take an ethics and reality class.
