Got one of these pistols excellent condition with the original" 9x18" magazine. It was made in W. Germany and shoots like a charm. What is one of these things worth?

They run from $350 to as much as $500-600 depending on the local market. I've had one for about 12 years, they are an excellent gun. The ammo is a bit tough to find, but it is out there. And for those of you who think that you can shoot 9x18 Makarov through it, don't try. The Walther is a 9x18mm Ultra, it has a .355 diameter bullet, the Makarov is .363-.366. They are not the same. I know of someone who actually got a round to chamber and fire, the recoil was extreme and I'm sure the pressures were very dangerous. It would be a good way to blow up the gun. That would be a real shame, as they are such a nice piece.
