H&K model 770

I have been told that the hi-cap mags that fit the H&K assault rifles like model 93A2, also fit in the sporting model 630 (both .223) What I want to know is do the magazines for the 308 assault type H&K' fit in the sporting model 770? Is there anything about the 770 I should know about to discourage me from buying one? (Other then price)

    Owning the HK 91, SL-7 and a 630, the 91 and 93 series do not fit the 770/630. The 770 does use the same mag as the SL-7 carbine, and the 630 uses the same as the SL-6 carbine. You can get 10 round mags for both 770 and 630 series, or the regular 3 round mag for the 308/770/SL-7 or 4 round mag for the 223/630SL-6. Hope this clears this up for you...Greg
