Picked up Smith Wesson 5906 , had 15rd mag. What year was this gun made ! Serial # is VAV3386 .

1989-1993 based upon book by Supica & Nahas.Not specific by S/N for each year.

Go to www.smith-wesson.com They will tell you when it was made, when it was sold (for the first time)and probably more than you thought you wanted to know. They are very helpful folks.
