As a buyer I wouldn't sweet it to much.No feedback is better than bad feedback. You can bet that he posts the BAD stuff.(no news is good news thingy)just a opinion

I'm new to Gunbrokers. In the last 2 months I've purchased 6 auction items. I have posted positive things on every seller. I was never a slow payer or anything. I've still not received any feedback. I personally am bothered by it a little. I sent two of the sellers an e-mail. None posted feedback. Oh well! I thought having a rating might help my purchasing.

I got passed over in a dutch auction, because I didn't have any feedbacks. Since then, I make sure all sellers to me know, that I require feedbacks. If I buy from you, and you neglect to post feedback, I will not buy from you again. Period It is too easy to take a minute to say "good auction, bad auction" etc. I have a very short list of ones that would not post. One guy said he would, didn't, and got upset when I blackballed him. (I have a small following that comes to me about auctions) I merely have to say "I won't buy from him", and the auction usually gets skipped. I make several attempts to refresh their memories, but some people just won't post feedbacks.

there are a few buyers who simply don't want the feedback because they are a bit paranoid. It's the same reason some people like to buy guns through private transactions at gunshows. Not that they are going anything wrong, They don't want anyone (spelled the Feds) knowing what they are buying. Leaving feedback leaves a trace back to particular items. In most cases, one who extends the favor of a feedback rating will probably get one as well.

We have conducted over 1500 auctions on another site and we always leave feedback soon as we receive payment and let the buyer know when item will be shipped......but we have only received about half in return. But its no big deal, we now have almost 1000 feedbacks so eventually if you do the auctions long enough you will get your feedbacks. I have also found out that alot of people don't have any idea what a feedback is or how to leave one.....nor do they know what that number is beside their name. But its still new to alot of folks so give them time and they might figure it out like we did. :-)

some sellers my have limited time to spend on the PC & these auctions in general, so naturally they tend to the important stuff first. (e mails, tracking numbers, shipping the goods). When time permits, then the feedback. I normally use the bulk feedback maybe twice a month. A great feature on this site.

I sell and buy things on line (shooter3448) and i always leave feedback but only about half of the people have left feed back on me. I want people to let me know how they felt about the transition.

Don't forget, Gunbroker makes it difficult to post feedback.e*#%, on the other hand, has a place on the item page to click "Leave feedback for buyer" and "Leave feedback for seller".I'd suggest that Gunbroker do the same, but they failed to respond to my last suggestion.Neal

If a seller doesn't post feedback for me after I have posted feedback for him, I wait one week then delete my feedback. If everyone would do the same it might get their attention.
