Abercrombie & Fitch Single Shot Shotgun

I just got a Single Shot 28ga Shotgun. It's a 'breakdown' model that folds in half. It has a vented rib, checkerd forearm and stock, SS or Nickel reciever, with some engraving on the reciever and back of the barrel. It breaks open via a lever that you pull like a trigger in front of the trigger guard; the lever looks like an extra thick target S&W trigger. The lever fits into the forearm when the gun is folded in half. It has a button safety on the trigger guard.

It's marked

Abercrombie & Fitch
Made in Italy on one side

And the other side has

M.A.V. I di Salvinelli
Gardone VT = Brescia

It has '28' right in the middle of the back of the top of the barrel.

So, what is it? Promotional gun? Commerative? Import copy? I think Berettas are made in Brescia, and I've seen reference to high dollar guns with the Gardone name on them.

Any help would be appreciated. I'll post pics as soon as I can.
