Is there someone out there that can tell me more about a gun that I purchased some 30 odds years ago. It is and over/under in 20ga. 3" mag. and the mfg. name is Eig Brescia. It has a lot of schroll work on the receiver, trigger guard, and top lever. It has a raised rib, and the wood is light in color, with a checkered butt plate. I have never seen it in any gun books, or even seen or heard of this at any gun show that I have attended over the years. It has a serial number of 0196. Thats about all I can tell you about it. Is there someone who knows anything about it?

If this helps, I believe that Brescia is a city or region in Italy. You might try looking for Eig. I couldn't find any info, sorry.

Hello John, I own a similar shotgun except 12 ga. and asked this question here. There is very little info about this company out there. I e-mailed all the firearms manufacturers in the Brescia area for parts and got no help there either. If you find anything please let me know. Thanks stevandcathy@aol.com

This might help a little, or perhaps not: From "Official Guide To Gunmarks", 5th Edition, by David Byron, page 38, "EIG-Importers of small pistols and revolvers in Miami, Florida c.1967". From "Gun Digest 1967", Directory Of The Firearms Trade, page 394, "Guns-Foreign", "Europa Corp., 275 N.E. 59th, Miami 37, Fla."
