Remington 222 Magnum Carbine

What is a Remington Model 700 carbine in 222 mag. 95% condition
worth.Owner says made in 1962 or 1963.Is $500.00 too much, its a
ADL.

    22nd. Edition of the Blue Book says at 95% the ADL has a retail value of $270. and for the 20" barrel to add 20%; $324. total. These are not rare as 20" was the standard barrel length for this caliber for the first three years of production. My personal opinion is that %500. is too much for the gun; however, if it what you are looking for and it is the only one available.........

    Reddog, 500 is right steep!! 300 would be more in line. However when you start to talk about accuracy and effectiveness the value starts to rise!! 30 gr. of Varget(that's all the case will hold) and a 40 gr Ballistic Tip will turn out 3617 out of my 40-X barrel (20 Inch) and kill varmints effectively way out there!!! Still looking to see you in Rockbridge Co this summer for a varmint hunt!! GHD
