Garand, clip ejection

Shooting my Garand more now & find I get partially loaded clip ejection fairly often using some powders (with gas-operated semi-auto rifle suggested loads) & not with others. Is this strictly a load-power or burn rate phenomenon or is it something mechanical as well? Varget seems to work flawlessly at 41.4 to 41.6 grains. This is a new barrel .308, NM grade SA on pretty much everything.

spring for the cure. I am not saying thats the culperit but give
it a try. Worked for me. Another bare possibility is the clip
ejector spring which is in the trigger housing assembly.
Some guys like a mag full of lead, I still prefer one round to the head.
Clip springs are certainly cheap enough & Fulton Armory has available an extra-strength version for a few dollars; as I need a few 2-round clips too I think I'll get their spring & THEN strip & clean the receiver & add the stronger spring when reassembling everything.
