Does anyone have much experience with working on Marlin rimfire triggers? What can be safely done to them to lighten them up? I got my 17VS Thursday and have shot 6/10" groups and killed 4 groundhogs so far but the trigger is horrible!!! I've worked almost exclusively on Remington triggers and need a little help with this little beast! When you are used to 1-2lb triggers it takes forever to get this one pulled!! GHD

Before I retired from gunsmithing, I lightened many Marlin triggers.
Any good gunsmith should be capable of doing this. You may run into the
problem of no one wanting to do it because of liability, but it is not
    a difficult job.
