olympic arms: ar15(clones to please the judge)

i was wondering if anyone could advise me on the quality of olympic ar's and if anyone has shot one, their level of accuracy.

    If both upper and lower are Oly. And they were made for each other then pretty good. Oly's have a problem with switching uppers to lowers and visa versa. I would go with Bushmaster. My 2 cents

    What a great day! I have one convert! Thank you kbbandit for being accurate in your description.

    I think the Oly rifles are generally less well-regarded than Colt and Bushmaster, but they are fine for plinking and defense.

    I'm real happy with my PCR, it more accurate than I thought it would be, good enough to hunt groundhogs.

    The only problem I had with Olympic Arms AR's involved using cheap Chinese ammo, it would not feed or not eject it. Use good ammo and it worked like a charm. This was about 5 or 6 years ago. I still prefer the old Colt SP1 though. It has never let me down.

    I've been very pleased with my Oly PCR-4. I did have to polish the feed ramps when brand new, it would not feed hollowpoints.

    Since then it is very reliable and very accurate, I would buy another.

    I have a oly heavy barrel, works well, best five shot group so far (100 yrds.)= 5/8". I have replaced the trigger and am about to replace the forend).
