Glock 26 capacity question

I know they come with 10 round mags, but is this the max capacity of a Glock 26? Is there such thing as a preban or LEO part for this weapon?
Thanks in advance for any replies,
Ben Fowler

Glock 19 and glock 17 mags will work in a G-26. They will hang out of the bottom a considerable amount and you can put rearward pressure on the bottom causing a failure to feed by cocking the mag rearward. Any of the pre-ban hi caps would be legal in this gun even though it was never manufactured with a capacity over ten. There is just no room to put more than ten in that short mag well.

while loading mags for my G26 I noticed that I can squeeze in another round plus one in the chamber for a total of 12..probably not a good idea to keep it that way and Ive shot it maybe twice with no problems like that. They do make a sleeve which fits over the longer magazines and extends the grip of the gun about an inch or so. It completely covers the part of the magazine that sticks out. Try www.glockmeister.com they have quite a few accessories for it.
