I have an old single shot shotgun that is marked 20 ga White Powder Wonder ? I am looking to find any information as to who made this and how old it might be. Any Info would be helpful. Thanks

"White Powder Wonder" was a Sears & Roebuck brand. You could buy one from thier 1927 catalog for $8.39. The picure on the catalog page looks an awful lot like the Iver johnson next to it. I would guess either IJ made it or Sears made it in thier own gun factory, which they had at that time.

The Sears Factory in that era was called Meridian Arms. I had not seen White Powder Wonder before, but ran into a listing by O'Connor of a couple of dozen names Sears used. Think I will post them next week.

There is essentially no collector market for any of the Sears firearms. That is not to say that some of them are not very serviceable, but that collectors go for the underlying models under the manufacturers name on collectable models. The value is as a shooter, and what you are willing to pay or sell for.
