I bought a 16ga. double hammer gun over the weekend, and I'd like any information about it. The only markings I see on it are:
Compeer Gun Co. Genuine Armory steel choke bored
Indianapolis
Serial # 1667XX found on the forarm frog, under the barrels on the lug, and on the frame under the barrels. The gun is a side lock, and the receiver appears to be case colored. It is a tight, solid gun. Thanks for the help. drsteve
