Hi, experts. Can someone tell me the DOM of a Winchester Model 64, serial number 1148447. Thank you Jim
P. S. If current, correct serial number dates of manufacture are listed on this web site or this Forum somewhere, pls. advise where so I won't have to bother folks in the future. Thx JT

1937, Bert can probably narrow that down to the month.

Dokey, I'm not sure if you are unaware those dates are based on the flawed Madis information, or you are aware, and just pushing Bert's blood pressure button. I think I like the second assumption.[:D]

Manufactured in October of 1937. Is it a Sporting Rifle, Deer Rifle, Carbine, or Deluxe Carbine?

Bert. It's a sporting rifle. I don't own it (yet) so I can't give you all the info. for your survey, but if I get it I'll follow through. Thanks Jim
