hello;

have a s&w model 6946, DAO auto pistol with an extreamly hard DAO trigger pull. ordered a few hammer springs from wolff. one of the hammer springs is rated at 17#. does a hammer spring rated at 17#
enough for reliability?

thanks for any input.

    You're going to have to find out through trial and error. Likely it will function OK, with modern commercial ammo. Older military ball ammo with insensitive primers. Meant to be used in submachine guns, will be a different story.

    Years ago when when surplus 9mm military ball, was readily available cheap. I had problems shooting it in various 9mm handguns, because of the crummy primers.
