I have been looking at the EAA SAR pistols that are made in Turkey. Has anyone shoot one or own one? Looking at both the 9mm and 45acp.

    Never shot or owned one.

I think these CZ-75 clones should be fine. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one, if I were interested in a CZ-75 type gun.

Sarsilmaz is the biggest handgun manufacturer in Turkey, and they've just opened a brand new facility with all new modern tooling outside of Istanbul where these guns are made. As an aside, Beretta has some of its guns now made in Turkey to save costs (labor is cheap there).

Turkey has a HUGE military (I think 4th or 5th biggest in the world), and their standard issue guns is the B6 SARS CZ-75 clone. I think Turkish police also carry this.

My buddy bought one in 9mm, accurate and reliable. Great gun for $300 out the door
