Anybody have any experience with Konus M30 scopes? I'm looking at a M30 8.5-32x . How do they rate against Leupolds and Sightrons?

They dont rate against those two, not the same ball park, hell, not even the same country. Konus is a step better than Tasco, On par with Barsaka, and low end Bushnell but cant compare with even middle grade Bushnell. Leupold and Sightrons are way above them....

I have the 6.5-25x44 and have been testing it for 3 years now with over 100 rounds of .300 Win Mag (200-210gr, shot 1 whitetail doe at 338 yards and 1 coyote at 200 yards in 2010) and over 100 rounds of .270 AI (150, 165, and 175gr) as a budget long range option (most of my scopes are in the $500 and up range). It's holding really well thus far and have exceeded my expectations.

There was a member in the ar15armory.com that did an extensive side by side comparison with detailed pictures on the 4-16x44 with high end scopes but it's no longer available with the link I have but if I ran into it elsewhere, I will forward them to you.
Consider the following to evaluate the "entire" scope for your intended purpose against the Leupold and Sightron:
Clarity: Your own eyes are the best judge. For me, the clarity is better than I ever expected but you lose clarity past 20X (at least for my eyes).
Eye relief: Unless it's SIII, the Sightron is out, I need at least 3.5".
Red and blue illum reticle feature: Neither Leupold or Sigthron offers it.
30MM tube and magnification: You probably have to go $500+ Leupold and Sightron models.
Spec: It's solidly built but is heavy and bulky.
Just a few things for your consideration. If you have any specific question, PM or e-mail me.
NOTE:
I'm currently testing the 3-12x44 T-30 on my wife's AR.
