Ammo 17 winchester super magnum

Winchester announced a new Calibre,in January, a 17 super Magnum rimfire , as of today the only gun chambered for it is a Savage bolt action, and there is NO ammunition PERIOD ? I wonder if the US arms industry is an example of US industry,if so it is a screwed up Mess. I can get better service as a customer in MEXICO ? Whats up with the US arms business?? Where and how can I get some 17b Winchester super Mag Ammo??

    Heck, regular old 22 Long Rifle ammo isn't even available, except from scalpers. Why would you even imagine you could get your hands, on this new stuff from Winchester?

    I'm looking forward to getting a rifle in this caliber. But it certainly won't be the Savage rifle. As much as I like Savage in general I'm not impressed. It would be a shame if this cartridge went nowhere because of the ammo shortage and a lousy platform.
