Has anyone had any experience with this little cartridge yet? Seems like much ado for somthing so small. Accuracy potential? Can't reload a rimfire, what good is it?Thoughts?

I've only read the mags. so far alsp. But it would seem that they would've got together w/ Rem. & worked out a deal to bring back the 5mm. Then I could afford to shoot the ammo I have for it...

That's what I mean, are they so desperate to come up with somthing new that they are feeding us what they want?

I agree. What's it good for? The ammo will be more expensive than .22 magnum ammo which is already too expensive. It will probably die off very quickly when people start to use it & find out it's not useful for anything other than mice. Why don't the companies use their resources to bring down the price of the .22 magnum ammo? That will make people a LOT happier!!!

Seems, a better choice would have been the centerfire Hornet and use the "K" shoulder. ?This magnum doesn't make much sense to a farm boy.

Its something for me to make money on. I will buy a bunch of the ammo and in a few years it will become gold to those who bought the rifles. Think about the Remington 5mm debacle. How much is that ammo now?
