I didn't say they were stupid, you mis-understand. I said they don't care enough to make the time. I don't have any LEO mags due to the fact that factory pre-bans can be had new in box for what some people think an LEO mag is worth used, therefore it is not in my financial interest to persue that avenue. If my post would have showed up, you would have determined that. Here's another train of thought, would you rather a decent gun owner bought the clip off the guys table or the crack dealer right behind him in line? Someones gonna buy em either way. At least the person with some sense took them off the street. that's the basis of my argument. Sorry if you were offended or thought I advocated felonious activities.

I wonder why they havn't done that yet? It seems to me to be easy to catch the guy seling them, especially when a member of the board comes on and says, Hey should I have bought these. How many times have you encountered an LEO mag? I have seen them several times in the past. I find it interesting that the trade in guns have the clips in them. Is this just a mistake on their part? Or is there some rule that says you can have them if you do paperwork and buy the whole gun. I am confused as to the logic behind that.Do you know why I was told by the ATF that a full auto trigger group was legal as long as it wasn't installed or on the same property as the gun? Are both the agents I spoke with wrong? or is their some sort of wording that allows for purchase of such things? I get MORE confused when I call the ATF OR the state police, it seems no-one knows anything for sure. After a while, asking becomes a pain in the *. I don't want the trigger group, I just wanted to see if it was indeed a legal add.thanks

yeah, now you see my dilema. I ask and ask and ask and ask and the ATF and State police and dealers can't agree. Is there anywhere I can go to get a plain english explanation from start to finish? I call the ATF and an agent tells me one thing. then for a theory, I call back several days later and another agent in the exact same office says something totaly different. You try to comply with the laws, if for nothing but paranoia sake, and you end up being confused and afraid to buy things that may have been a legal purchase.

I have tried to decipher some of the posts directly from it and get confused. Maybe the members should get a copy, translate it into laymens terms, and re-post it for an ongoing refernce tool. What do you think? It would help to have a conglomeration of all of us who agree on the translation, point by point and then have it posted. Might be fun as well as educational.
