Went to my local gun shop on Saturday and picked up a box of winchester Ranger +P+. I have a glock 26 and I know that they don't like +P much, let alone +P+. should i return it, or would it be ok to use it strictly for self defense...10-20 rounds max?If I were caught in a situation where i would need them, having to replace the gun afterwards would be a small price to pay, just don't want the thing to blow up on me if I shoot that stuff. Thanks,Alex

If you are in doubt about the gun handling them I would not shoot any. I know my ruger will handle them. You could also contact the manufacturer and ask them if they think the gun will shoot them.

That is some of the BEST defense ammo that you can buy. Have no fears about your Glock " being able to handle it," Your Glock will handle it just fine. Recoil may be a little heavier than you are used to with some of the other wimpy factory loads. But the bottom line is that your Glock will handle it , if you can....
