Colt Serial Numbers Help

Was wondering if any Colt collectors could tell me the year of manufacter on a couple guns,I don't have the correct books to look them up yet. Colt Python #28xxx(no letters)1963 maybe? - Colt Officers Model Match .22(5th issue)#85xxx, I have the test target for this one but the way the date is written I can't decide if it says 1961 or 1967. Thanks ....Jeff

    According to RL Wilson, the Python is 1963. The Officer's model gives a range of 1952 to 1969 ending at 88843, so yours is probably 1967....
